Rooftop is looking for a senior graphic designer to join our team and deliver work with purpose.

SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER PROFILE

The Senior Graphic Designer sets the standard for all design applications for Rooftop. This role’s oversight on design leads from the front and assists and guides the design team and enhances the “beyond expectation” campaign delivery for Rooftop’s clients.

The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for leadership, feedback and direction to the design team as a whole and also to each team members individually working with the Design Director to ensure that the levels of creative excellence and values of Rooftop are always upheld and lived out.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To lead, inspire and set the standard for design at Rooftop.
  • To design key assets for campaigns and projects across a range of media.
  • To oversee the rollout of design assets across the graphic design team and inspire them to deliver work that Rooftop is proud of.
  • To work with the Design Director to achieve the desired objectives for Rooftop’s clients and for Rooftop.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in a Graphic Design role and the following areas:
    • Experience in Digital/Web.
    • Experience in design for Social Media.
    • Experience in report/publication design and layout.
    • Experience in Desk Top Publishing and print artwork make-ready.
    • Experience in Client Management.
    • Experience in Project Management.
    • Experience in Team Leadership.
    • Knowledge of graphic design programs.
    • Knowledge of Graphic Design, Social Media and Digital trends.
    • Knowledge of integrated Campaign Development.
    • Knowledge of video production process (desirable).
    • Knowledge of Animated graphics (desirable).
